Second unit of Belarusian NPP will be started in March this year

The first trial activation of the second power unit of the Belarusian NPP is scheduled for March or April of this year. It is planned to put the unit into commercial operation in the second half of the year, Minsk-News reported.

After the trial run, they will conduct a series of studies of the unit in different operating modes. The capacity will be increased gradually.

According to the plans of Belarusian power engineers, two NPP power units will be able to provide about 40% of the country's energy needs.
