Security will be strengthened in Minsk schools

Additional security systems, such as turnstiles and video surveillance cameras are being actively installed in Minsk schools, minsknews.by reports.

The Ministry of Executive Committee will provide security for all educational institutions until the end of 2021. Video cameras will be installed around the perimeter and inside the schools. By July 1, 2022, a manual alarm system will appear in all schools where it is not yet available. Turnstiles have already been installed in 85% of schools and 82% have video surveillance cameras.

Parents of students will be able, as before, to bring and pick up children, come for meetings with teachers and administration. This will need to be done by prior agreement.
