SegmentStream startup raises more than $1 million in investment
The British startup SegmentStream, founded by Belarusians, has raised more than $1 million in investments, dev.by reports.
The co-founders of the startup (Pavel Petrinich and Konstantin Yurevich) are developing a platform for analytics and marketing optimization using machine learning. According to the developers, the investment will be used to increase marketing and sales in major foreign markets, such as in Western Europe, the United Kingdom and the United States, as well as to develop a technical team in the CIS.
A number of well – known entrepreneurs, business angels, the OKS Group venture fund, and the Tiny VC fund have already invested in the startup. At the pre-seed stage, the fund theUntitled.VC invested $120,000 in the company. In 2018, SegmentStream became the first Russian-speaking company that got included into the TechStars accelerator & SAP.io In Berlin.
SegmentStream was founded in 2018 and is based in London. The staff now consists of about 20 people and since 2020, all work remotely. The guys are working on a SaaS platform for analyzing and improving the effectiveness of digital marketing using machine learning. The platform is already actively used in 14 countries around the world.
