September 2023 was the warmest in 78 years

September 2023 became the warmest for the first time since 1945 in Belarus, Sputnik reported. The average air temperature in September was several degrees above the climatic norm, and the maximum value was recorded at 29.2°C.

The daytime temperature throughout September averaged 20-27°C. Also, 38% of normal precipitation fell during the month. This September ranked third in the list of the driest in the last 78 years.
