Sergey Gurenko became the head coach of Shakhter
Belarusian specialist Sergey Gurenko was appointed the head coach of the players of Shakhter Soligorsk, minsknews.by reports.
The former captain of the Belarusian national football team and now the head coach of Shakhter Soligorsk, is 48 years old. During his football career, Sergey Gurenko played for many clubs and spent 80 matches in the national team.
Sergey Vitalyevich started his coaching career in 2009 at Dinamo Minsk. In 2010-2012, he headed the Zhodino "Torpedo-BelAZ". He worked in the coaching staffs of the Russian "Krasnodar", "Spartak" (Nalchik), "Amkar", the Belgian "Standard" and the national team of Serbia. In 2017-2018 and 2019-2020, he headed Dinamo Minsk. Before joining Shakhter, he was the head coach of the Lithuanian "Riterai".
