Shortlisting of Belarusian astronauts for flight to ISS began

Shortlisting begins among Belarusian applicants for a flight to the International Space Station. According to the plan, the flight will take place in the fall of 2023. This was announced by the General Director of Roscosmos, Minsk-News writes.

The shortlisting will last about two months. Now there are 29 candidates in the list. They come to Russia according to the schedule of the medical examination.

The selection of the cosmonaut will take into account the topics for experiments on board of the ISS, which were proposed by the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
