Signature collection results of potential presidential candidates

The Central Election Commission has completed the counting of signatures for potential candidates, reports tut.by. Who will continue the election race?

The fight for the post of President of the Republic of Belarus will be continued by 6 candidates, including Alexander Lukashenko, Victor Babariko, Anna Kanopatskaya, Sergey Cherechnya, Andrey Dmitriev and Svetlana Tikhonovskaya.

Valery Tsepkalo did not collect the required number of signatures, after the verification he had 75,249 signatures left.

In general, according to the results of the work of the Central Election Commission, the candidates collected the following number of signatures:

Alexander Lukashenko - 1 939 572;

Victor Babariko - 165 744;

Anna Kanopatskaya - 146 588;

Sergey Cherechnia - 143 109;

Andrey Dmitriev - 106 841;

Svetlana Tikhanovskaya - 104 757.

The headquarters of Victor Babariko announced that he did not agree with the decision of the CEC and was going to send complaints to the election commissions.
