Snow Sniper Republican Tournament started in Raubichi

The Raubichi Republican Olympic Training Center for Winter Sports hosted the opening of the republican biathlon competitions among children and teenagers, the Minsk-News agency writes. The winners of the Snow Sniper Competition will receive prizes from The Presidential Sports Club.

On Friday, February 11, there will be 6 sprint races. Children will perform in three age groups: junior (10-11 years), middle (12-13 years), senior (14-15 years). On Sunday races will continue. The participants will compete for 6 sets of awards in the mass start, and then the mixed relay races will take place.

The gathering of athletes began a week before the competition. The participants were acquainted with the track, under the guidance of professionals; they underwent ski and fire training.
