"Sputnik Light" vaccine has been delivered to Belarus
Belarus has received a batch of the Russian vaccine "Sputnik Light". It contains 250 thousand doses. This was announced today by the Minister of Health Dmitry Pinevich, minsknews.by reports.
The batch was received in the amount of 250 thousand doses, the Ministry of Health reported. The minister explained that students will be able to get vaccinated with the vaccine. It is also suitable for revaccination. The vaccine will be available next week.
"Sputnik Light" is intended for use in the form of revaccination, vaccination of patients after COVID-19 and vaccination of young people under 23 years of age. I believe that our students will be able to get vaccinated with this vaccine. It is one-stage with the achievement of very effective indicators. "Sputnik Light" can be vaccinated at the end of next week", - Dmitry Pinevich said.
According to Pinevich, at least six months should pass between vaccination and revaccination. The minister added that the production of "Sputnik Light" will probably soon be organized at "Belmedpreparaty".
The "Sputnik Lite" vaccine is the first component of the "Sputnik V" vaccine. It was registered in Belarus in early June.
