Swedish firm bought a Belarusian IT company

The Swedish holding bought the Belarusian IT company Easybrain with an office in Minsk and the whole team for 640 million dollars, tut.by reports.

In total, the deal cost for the Swedish company $640 million, and plus to this, additional remuneration of up to $125 million is possible, provided that the agreed financial indicators are met within six years. In total, the maximum transaction amount will be $765 million.

According to the deal, Easybrain becomes wholly owned by Embracer and becomes its eighth subsidiary. It is noteworthy that the company will continue to be headed by the former team of top managers.

Easybrain is a mobile games company focused on puzzles and logic games. According to statistical data for 2020, the company entered the top 3 most popular Belarusian developers. The company's games and apps, such as Sudoku.com, Nonogram.com, Blockudoku, Pixel Art and others, have been downloaded 328 million times in the past year.
