Tariffs for charging electric vehicles will change in Belarus

Tariffs for electric vehicle charging services will change from May 1, the Minsk-News agency writes. Gasoline prices have also recently risen in Belarus.

The cost per 1 kWh will be:

  • BYN0.35 — slow charging;
  • BYN0.45 — fast charging.

According to representatives of Malanka electric filling stations, the new tariffs are still the lowest in Europe and the CIS. For example, charging in Germany costs BYN2.

In Belarus, the charge for charging electric vehicles was introduced on January 1, 2021 and it was BYN0.29 for slow charging.
