Tastes of Minsk’s Christmas Fair

Minsk hosted its annual Christmas charity fair, bringing together participants from more than 30 countries, Sputnik writes.

Organized by the International Women’s Club of Ambassadors’ and Diplomats’ Spouses, the event expanded this year and featured a Belarusian stand for the first time.

Visitors sampled dishes from around the world: pancakes with caviar at the Russian stand, Venezuelan quesillo and creamy punch, Uzbek pilaf and pastries, and Swedish non-alcoholic glögg.

The fair also offered children’s workshops, a fashion show of national costumes, and live performances. All proceeds from the event will go to charity.
