Thailand plans to allow entry for foreign tourists

From July 1, the Thai authorities plan to lift some of the restrictions on entry for foreign tourists, "Sobiray Rukzak" writes. We remind you that many countries of the world have already abolished all sanitary restrictions on entry.

What changes will appear for entry into Thailand:

  • Thailand Pass and mandatory insurance with COVID-19 treatment coverage will be terminated;
  • the vaccination certificate or test will be checked at check-in;
  • unvaccinated passengers will be able to pass the ATC express test upon arrival;
  • mask regime in the open air is abolished (except for crowded places);
  • the whole country is moving to the "green" zone: restaurants, bars, entertainment and shopping centers will operate without restrictions.

The information will be updated as official documents are released.
