The 100th anniversary of the National Library of Belarus was included in the UNESCO list of memorable dates

The National Library of Belarus will celebrate the 100th anniversary of its foundation on September 15, 2022. This date will be included in the UNESCO list of memorable dates, belta.by reports.

This decision was made at the 41st session of the UNESCO General Conference. The inclusion of the centenary in the list of memorable dates will contribute to the integration of Belarus into the world community and will enrich the library's activities for the preservation and use of the national cultural heritage.

In total, the calendar of events for 2022-2023 includes 67 of the most important events from around the world.
