Belarus’ National Academy of Sciences is set to launch its first satellite to explore near-Earth space in the third quarter of 2025, Minsk-News shares.
The announcement came from Sergei Zolotoy, head of the Geoinformation Systems enterprise.
The satellite has completed all required testing and is ready for launch — a major milestone for the country’s growing space program.
Meanwhile, work is ongoing on a high-resolution Earth observation satellite, which is expected to launch in 2028.
