The Belarusian delegation presented the HTP experience in Saudi Arabia

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Sergei Aleynik, made an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the HTP Press Center reports.

The delegation included the Deputy Head of the Secretariat of the Supervisory Board of the Hi-Tech Park (HTP) - Kirill Zalessky. During the visit, representatives of the Belarusian delegation met with the leadership of the National Program for Technological Development, the Saudi Administration of Data and Artificial Intelligence, and also visited the Misk startup accelerator and the Scientific and Technological Campus named after King Abdulaziz.

Zalessky held meetings with key figures of the Saudi side, discussing the prospects for the development of partnership relations. In particular, representatives of the Kingdom showed interest in the experience of the Belarusian HTP, especially in building an ecosystem for technology companies and in the developments of Park residents. During the negotiations, issues of creating conditions for supporting innovative development in national economies were discussed.

The management of the Scientific and Technological Campus expressed interest in joint projects in the fields of smart cities, optical technologies, as well as advanced developments in energy and medicine. The discussion of the terms of cooperation in these areas demonstrates a mutual desire for cooperation and exchange of experience, which can contribute to the development of the technological sphere in both countries.
