The Belarusian railway plans to allocate about 500 million rubles for investment projects in 2020. Optimization and improvement of business processes based on the introduction of modern digital technologies is considered one of the priority areas, according to tut.by.
Special attention is paid to the introduction of microprocessor systems for railway automation and telemechanics. As part of these investment projects, outdated relay electrical centralization and self-locking devices are being replaced with microprocessor-based ones. This work is carried out by the railway within the framework of infrastructure development and electrification of the Osipovichi - Zhlobin - Gomel and Zhlobin - Kalinkovichi sections.
In total, in recent years, the Belarusian railway has put into operation microprocessor centralization at 18 stations. On more than 200 km of railway lines, the relay autolock was replaced with a microprocessor-based one.
In 2020, the Belarusian Railway will allocate about 33 million rubles for such projects.
