The Belarusian reached the quarterfinals of the tennis tournament in Doha

Belarusian tennis player Arina Sobolenko will play in the match for reaching the semifinals of the tournament in Doha, Qatar, the Minsk-News agency writes. Arina Sobolenko is the second racket in the world.

In the 1/8 finals, the Belarusian beat Jill Taichman from Switzerland in two sets — 6:2, 6:1. Gil is ranked 41st in the WTA rankings. In the quarterfinal match, Sobolenko will face Polish athlete Iga Schwentek (8th in the WTA ranking).
