The Belarusian State Aviation Academy will start training pilots

Commercial aviation pilots will be trained in Belarus for the first timebelta.by reports.

For the first time in the country, the admission of applicants to the new specialty "Flight operation of civil aviation aircraft" begins.

Training of future pilots will begin on September 1, 2021. The preparation period is 4.5 years.

In total, the Belarusian State Aviation Academy will accept eight students on a budget form of education and eight more on a paid form.

To enroll in the only flight specialty, applicants will need to pass a central testing in Belarusian or Russian, mathematics, English and a physical education exam. In addition, they had to successfully pass a medical and flight expert commission, including a professional and psychological interview.

The training course for a commercial aviation pilot at a Belarusian university will cost about 191 thousand rubles (about 73 thousand dollars).
