The external state debt of Belarus decreased by 1.6%

The external state debt of Belarus as of February 1, 2022 amounted to $17.9 billion, the website of the Ministry of Finance writes. Since the beginning of the year, the amount has decreased by $0.3 billion (including exchange rate differences), or by 1.6%.

In January 2022, external government loans for $65.3 million were attracted, the repayment of external public debt amounted to $271.9 million. The domestic public debt as of February 1, 2022 increased by 1.6%.

In January 2022, the placement and repayment of domestic government bonds were not carried out.
