The first Belarusian-Egyptian medical center opened in the suburbs of Cairo
The first Belarusian-Egyptian medical center Cairo-Minsk Orthopedics opened near Cairo, in the Sixth of October city, BELTA writes.
The Center was opened at a ceremony dedicated to the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Arab Republic of Egypt. The main specialization of the center is traumatology and orthopedics. Belarusian and Egyptian doctors and staff will work at the center. The medical facility is equipped with the most modern equipment for diagnosis and treatment.
Belarus has considerable experience of cooperation with Egypt in the field of medicine. Belarus transfers advanced experience in cardiology, oncology, dentistry to Egypt, and also supplies equipment for X-ray diagnostics.
The Belarusian side is adopting the experience of Egyptian colleagues in the field of pharmaceuticals and tropical medicine. Egypt also supplies Belarus with a significant amount of medicines, including those used in the treatment of COVID-19.
