The first Belarusian electric car

It is planned to complete the production of the first five Belarusian electric vehicles in August-September 2024, Sputnik writes.

Next, the cars will be tested. The Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus announced the possible launch of mass production by the end of the year.

The electric cars will be developed on the basis of the Geely Coolray car, the license for the production of which was obtained by the Belarusian plant Belgee last year.

The National Academy of Sciences of Belarus is also working on the development of the first Belarusian battery for electric cars.
