The first Belarusian female cosmonaut will go to the ISS
Marina Vasilevskaya will become the first female cosmonaut from Belarus, Sputnik informs.
She will travel to the International Space Station on the Soyuz MS-25 spacecraft on March 21. The crew also includes cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky and NASA astronaut Tracy Dyson. The flight will take about 3 hours, after which it is planned to dock with the ISS.
On the board of the space station, Vasilevskaya will conduct research in the biomedical field, and the field of agricultural technologies and perform other tasks. The return to Earth is scheduled for April 2 on the Soyuz MS-24 spacecraft.
