The first plogging tour in Belarus

At the initiative of the public movement Plogging Belarus, Volkswagen Company and the Center for Environmental Solutions, the first plogging tour in Belarus will be held in May, relax.by reports.

Plogging is a young, but gaining popularity all over the world movement. The essence of the initiative is to collect garbage while jogging. For the first time, plogging started in Sweden in 2016 and now more than 40 countries have joined the movement. Now Belarus is among them!

In Belarus, the first races were implemented in 2019, and then several dozen citizens took part in them. The May plogging tour plans to cover 6 regional cities and attract more than 500 participants.

The first plogging race within the tour will be held on May 15 in Minsk in the Stiklyovo nature reserve. The event will start at 16.00.

Then the team of the plogging tour will go to the regional cities:

• May 19 - Vitebsk;
• May 20 - Mogilev;
• May 21 - Gomel;
• May 22  –  Brest;
• May 23  –  Grodno.
