The first startup with Belarusian roots in the Facebook accelerator raised $2.7 million

A British startup with Belarusian roots SegmentStream has raised $2.7 million from the venture fund Fort Ross Ventures, dev.by writes. These investments will be used to develop a service for online marketing analytics without cookies.

SegmentStream was founded in 2018. The startup is developing a platform for analytics and marketing optimization with machine learning. Among the founders are Belarusians Pavel Petrinich and Constantine Yurevich and Oleg Kartyshev from Russia. The company is currently headquartered in London. The startup has about 20 employees, they work remotely.

In 2021, the startup also raised more than $1 million in investments. Also last year SegmentStream became the first startup with Belarusian roots in the Facebook accelerator
