The fountain season ends in Minsk

The fountain season ends in Minsk on September 24, minsknews.by reports.

The decision on this was made at the beginning of the month. Formally, today the fountains should still work, however, they are automatically turned off in adverse weather conditions: if precipitation falls in the form of rain more than 5 mm/h, the air temperature is below +10 °C, wind gusts increase by more than 10 m/s.

After the shutdown, the fountains will be preserved for the winter. If necessary, they will be repaired. Individual elements can be dismantled.

In total, Minskzelenstroy is responsible for 37 fountains.
