The heads of government of the CIS countries signed a package of documents on cooperation in Minsk

On May 28, a meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) was held in Minskbelta.by reports.

A package of documents on the development of cooperation was signed following a meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States in Minsk.

- the decision of the Council on the medium-term plan of joint actions of the CIS member states to counter the spread of infectious diseases;

- agreement on cooperation in the field of sanitary protection of the territories of the CIS member states;

- agreement on cooperation to promote employment in the CIS member states;

- agreement on cooperation of the CIS member states in the prevention and suppression of the use of false geographical indications and trademarks;

- the decision of the Council on the Concept of Cooperation of state bodies Managing state Material Reserves in the CIS member states (until 2030) and the plan of main measures for the implementation of this concept;

- the decision of the Council on a set of joint measures of the CIS member states for the prevention and control of foot-and-mouth disease (for the period up to 2025);

- protocol on amendments to the Agreement on cooperation of the CIS member states in the field of Geodesy, Cartography, cadastre, remote sensing of the Earth (dated 09.10.1992);

- decision of the Council on the basic organization of the participating countries in the field of operational and strategic training of Armed Forces officers.

The heads of government also signed decisions on personnel appointments. Leonid Anfimov was appointed First Deputy Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee, and Beketzhan Zhumakhanov, Ilkhom Nematov and Denis Trefilov were appointed Deputy Chairmen of the CIS Executive Committee. Vladimir Sokolin was approved as the chairman of the Interstate Statistical Committee of the Commonwealth for a period of one year.
