The introduction of innovative solutions on the Belarusian railway brought BYN5.3 million in 2021

In 2021, 425 rationalization proposals were implemented in the Belarusian Railway. The economic effect of their implementation amounted to more than BYN5.3 million ($2.12 million), BELTA writes with reference to the BR website.

More than 570 researchers carried out the development and implementation of solutions to improve the operation of the railway. The new solutions were aimed to ensuring traffic safety, saving and rational use of labor, fuel, energy and material resources. And also to improve the processes of repair and operation of traction rolling stock.

Most of the improvement solutions were proposed and implemented in the Baranovichi branch of the Belarusian Railway. The economic effect is BYN2.6 million ($1.04 million).
