The investigative Committee of Belarus and American Express signed a protocol on cooperation

On November 20, 2019, the Central office of the Investigative Committee held a number of joint events with the participation of foreign delegations dedicated to improving cooperation with international payment systems and financial organizations in the investigation of criminal cases of cybercrime

The parties noted the positive dynamics of cooperation. Since 2013, the Belarusian Agency and American Express have successfully cooperated in establishing the actual circumstances of cybercrimes.

A number of representatives of delegations made reports and presentations containing information on current trends in the field of cybersecurity, mechanisms of interaction between payment systems and law enforcement agencies.

Also, the participants of the event discussed ways of obtaining information within the framework of international cooperation, the practice of using crypto-currencies by criminals for criminal purposes and other topics, pravo.by reports.
