The Ministry of Health has identified a list of strategically important medicines. It was approved by Resolution No. 116 of October 29. The document is officially published today on the National Legal Internet Portal and comes into force after publication, belta.by reports.

55 groups and subgroups of the anatomical-therapeutic-chemical classification system of medicines were classified as strategic.

Among the strategically important drugs are those intended for medical use in conditions of military operations, the occurrence of an emergency situation and for providing medical assistance to persons affected by emergency situations. Such medicines are necessary for the prevention of emergencies, prevention and treatment of diseases that pose a danger to others, as well as diseases and lesions resulting from exposure to adverse chemical, biological, radiation factors.

The list of strategically important medicines is determined by the Ministry of Health.
