The Ministry of Health has updated the list of over-the-counter medicines

The Ministry of Health, by Resolution No. 120 of November 8, approved a new edition of the list of medicines sold without a doctor's prescription, minsknews.by reports.

The document is officially published today on the National Legal Internet Portal and comes into force after publication.

The list has been expanded due to medications for the treatment of a number of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes mellitus, thyroid diseases, hormonal drugs for the treatment of diseases of the nose and eyes, glaucoma.

The expansion of the list of over-the-counter medicines is due to the fact that Belarusians will visit polyclinics less often. And it can reduce the risks of COVID-19 infection.

Medicines and dosage forms whose registration in Belarus has ended are excluded from the list.
