The National Library of Belarus has restored the lost library of M. Bogdanovich

By the 130th anniversary of Maxim Bogdanovich, the National Library of Belarus has restored the lost library of the famous poetminsknews.by reports.

On December 7, at 16.00, the exhibition "Maxim's Library" will open at the Book Museum in the National Library of Belarus.

Researchers were able to reconstruct the Belarusian part of Maxim Bogdanovich's personal book collection from archival documents and correspondence.

As part of the museum reconstruction of the library, the exhibition will feature books with autographs of the poet, the first Belarusian newspapers and calendars, Belarusian editions of the early twentieth century from publishing houses of St. Petersburg, Vilnius and Minsk, editions of works of classics of national literature and other materials that could be stored by Maxim Bogdanovich.

The exhibition will be located in the Book Museum and the ring corridor of the second floor until January 15.

The opening hours of the exhibition correspond to the working hours of the book museum.

Entry on the opening day is free, the rest of the time - with a reader's ticket or a ticket of the socio-cultural center.
