The new technology of PCR tests will be used at the National Airport of Minsk

From June 1, the new technology of PCR testing for coronavirus SmartAmp will be applied at the Minsk National Airport, minsknews.by reports.

The new technology will increase the capacity of the laboratory, reduce the time of the study while maintaining high sensitivity and clinical reliability.

The research will be conducted from 01.06.2021. After studying the effectiveness and demand for this service, a decision will be made on the continuous use of SmartAmp technology.

To conduct the research, you must have:

• a copy of your passport;
• a copy of the ticket or other document confirming the departure;
• a document confirming the payment.

The collection of biological material for PCR research using SmartAmp technology is carried out from 07:30 to 16:00 (Saturday - Sunday to 15:00).

The results of the research are issued after 11:00 as the research is being carried out, but not earlier than 2 hours after the material is collected and the documents are processed.

The cost of a PCR study using SmartAmp technology as of 01.06.2021 is:

• for residents of the Republic of Belarus - 67,43 BYN;
• for non-residents - 85,20 BYN.
