The number of large families is growing in Belarus

In Belarus for the period from 2009 to 2019, the number of large families increased by 69%, BELTA writes referring to the announcement of the Deputy Minister of labour and social protection.

Family support is a national priority in Belarus. At the same time, special attention is paid to large families. All obligations of the state on social payments are fulfilled on time. Family capital is assigned, which families can use ahead of schedule to improve housing conditions, receive medical or educational services.

The state will continue supporting families. Until 2025, BYN18 billion of the budget ($7.2 billion) has been allocated for family assistance and benefits.
