The number of long-term construction projects has decreased in Minsk

In 2021, there were about 290 unfinished projects in Minsk, the construction of which was delayed beyond the norm. As of January 1, 2022, there are 103 of them left, the Minsk-News agency writes.

The reduction in the number was achieved through the allocation of additional budget funding, as well as the conversion of some buildings for other purposes.

Most of the problems arise with buildings in private ownership, since investors do not have the necessary amount in full, so after the start of construction they are forced to attract additional financing. Objects that are built at the expense of budgetary funds are usually handed over on time. These include educational or laboratory buildings and industrial facilities.
