The only country in Europe which applies covid restrictions

Spain remains the only country in Europe, which requires sanitary documents when entering from any country except the Schengen zone. The government also extended the restrictions until November 15, 2022, “Sobiray Rukzak” reported.

Travelers from non-EU and non-Schengen countries must provide one of these documents:

  • certificate of vaccination with a drug approved by the EU or WHO;
  • a certificate of recovery in the EUDCC format;
  • a negative PCR test is not older than 72 hours or an antigen test is not older than 24 hours before departure.

The second European country that has retained partial sanitary restrictions (only for entry from China) is Germany.
