The paintings were returned to the gallery of "Belgazprombank"
Since June 23, the Art-Belarus Gallery will once again be able to see paintings from the corporate collection of Belgazprombank, relax.by reports.
Works of painting, graphics, sculpture, decorative and applied art, book printing-more than 50 art objects in total. The new exhibition is dedicated to the history of Belarusian culture of the XVI-XX centuries.
The updated exhibition will feature paintings by Mark Chagall, Chaim Soutine, Osip Zadkin and many other world-famous natives of the Belarusian lands.
The exhibition also features six new works by "Affirmers of New Art" participants: Yevgenia Magaril, Dmitry Sannikov, Yefim Royak, Lev Yudin.
"Affirmers of New Art" is a creative association created in 1920-1923 in the Vitebsk National Art School under the leadership of Kazimir Malevich and developed the ideas of suprematism.
