The period of stay of foreign nationals in Belarus has been extended to 90 days

The period of stay of foreign nationals in Belarus has been extended to 90 days. And if necessary, beyond this period, reports belarusfeed.com.

“Due to the fact that a number of countries have imposed travel restrictions for foreign nationals, the Citizenship and Migration Department of the Belarusian Internal Affairs Ministry will extend the period of stay of foreign nationals in our country up to 90 days, and if necessary, beyond this period,” the message reads.

A foreign national should apply to the Citizenship and Migration Department of the Belarusian Internal Affairs Ministry at the place of stay (registration) to extend the period.

The period of can also be extended at Minsk National Airport. The procedure can be accomplished, for instance, if a foreign national finds out that his/her flight is canceled upon arrival at the airport.
