The President of Belarus forbade raising prices
At a meeting with ministers on October 6, the President forbade raising prices for all goods in the country. However, some exceptions are possible, Minsk-News reported.
Now, an increase in price correction will require the permission of the Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade or the Chair of a local Executive Committee.
The Prosecutor General and the Chair of the State Control Committee will monitor the implementation of the President's instructions. In the near future, they will determine the rules of price regulation and measures to respond to violations.
According to the forecast of socio-economic development, Belarus' GDP should grow by 3.8% in 2023, and the incomes of Belarusians – by 4%.
