The Road Safety Day will be held in Belarus on February 25

The State Traffic Inspectorate of Belarus will hold a Road Safety Day on February 25, BELTA writes with reference to the message of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The measures will be aimed at preventing cases when drivers leave the scene of an accident.

Most of these incidents are related to pedestrian collisions and occur at night in settlements or surroundings. Drivers leave the scene of an accident in the hope of avoiding responsibility. Statistics show that in 96% of cases such drivers are found.

However, the driver is not always to blame for an accident, so traffic inspectors will conduct conversations with pedestrians and drivers.
