The rules for crossing the Belarusian border have changed. The Council of Ministers amended Resolution No. 624 of 30.10.2020 "On measures to prevent the spread of an infectious disease"sputnik.by reports.

They relate to the departure from Belarus through land checkpoints of citizens of the country who have a residence permit, a passport for permanent residence outside the country, or another document confirming the right to permanent or temporary residence in a foreign country. Now they will be able to leave the country once every three months, and not once every six months, as before.

The same applies to persons who have documents confirming the fact of employment or study abroad, foreigners who have a permit for permanent or temporary residence in Belarus, when leaving for the country of their citizenship.

Resolution No. 504 of September 1 is officially published today on the National Legal Internet Portal and comes into force after publication.

Due to the pandemic, travel through land checkpoints was temporarily restricted for Belarusian citizens and foreigners who have a permanent or temporary residence permit in the republic in 2020.
