The share of voluntarily paid taxes in Belarus amounted to 98% in 2021

By the end of 2021, the tax authorities ensured the formation of consolidated budget revenues by 101.5%, BELTA writes. About 98% of all taxes were paid voluntarily.

The growth rate compared to 2020 is 109.4%. One third of the receipts were generated by small and medium-sized businesses.

In the first quarter of 2022, events will be held to clarify the issues of paying the real estate tax on apartments, which was introduced in 2022. Explanatory work will also be carried out with individual entrepreneurs, for whom approaches to taxation in many areas of activity have changed. In the field of view is also the receipt of the transport tax, for which advance payments were made last year.
