The situation with COVID-19 at the beginning of the week

According to the Ministry of Health, the second wave of coronavirus finally came to Belarus. What is the statistics of infections on the 12^th of September, tut.by reports.

On the 12^th of September, 83,998 cases of COVID-19 virus infection were registered in Belarus for the entire period. Over the past day, the increase in cases was 464 people. Compared to the statistics two weeks ago, there is a significant increase in the number of infected (2 times).

203 patients infected with coronavirus have recovered and 5 patients have died in the last 24 hours. A total of 77,423 people were cured and discharged from hospitals and 901 people died.

Despite an increase in the number of new cases of coronavirus infection, the Ministry of Health in Belarus notes that people who have had COVID-19 are immune to the virus.

While schools, universities, as well as other public institutions, will continue their work in the traditional format.
