The size of the base rate will increase in Belarus

From January 1, 2022, the base rate for wages of employees of budget organizations will increase, minsknews.by reports.

The base rate in Belarus will increase by 4.5% and will amount to 207 rubles. At the moment, its value is 198 rubles. The decision to change the base rate was made by the Council of Ministers.

In 2022, another increase is planned to 210 rubles.

"The decision will affect about 850 thousand employees of the public sector" - the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection noted.

The base rate is the main element of the tariff system, on the basis of which the wages of employees of budgetary and equivalent organizations receiving subsidies is made.
