The state increases expenses for education

Beginning 2023, the annual cost of teaching one student in an urban state school will increase and amount to 2,645 Belarusian rubles, Sputnik reported.

Relative to expenses in 2022, the amount increased by 388 rubles, or plus 17%.

The funding rate for kindergartens is also increasing by 18%. Now the cost of a child's annual education will be 3277 rubles.

As before, in each specific case, the amounts may vary due to special coefficients. For example, for urban schools with a swimming pool, more money should be allocated per pupil than for a regular school.

All funding for education is at the expense of the state.
