The traffic police will fine drivers who haven’t installed winter tires on the car

From November 25 to December 5, the traffic police will hold an action "Winter tires - safety for cars!", minsknews.by reports.

During this period, inspectors will remind of the need to operate cars with winter tires from December 1, as well as responsibility for non-compliance with this traffic regulations requirement.

According to the traffic police, from December 1, inspectors will begin conducting raids, during which they will check how drivers have prepared their cars.

For the absence of winter tires, a fine of up to one basic value (29 rubles) is provided. In case of repeated violation during the year, the fine will be from 2 to 5 basic values (from 58 to 145 rubles).
