The treatment plant in Minsk will be reconstructed until 2025

The Minsk sewage treatment plant is planned to be reconstructed until 2025, minsknews.by reports.

"For more efficient water purification, we annually shift about 3% of the networks, we buy channel washing machines to reduce blockages. Until 2025, we plan to reconstruct the Minsk treatment plant" - said Olga Dubovik, deputy head of production at "Minskochistvod".

In Minsk, 60 kilometers of household sewage pipes are shifted annually. The total length of the network is 2 thousand kilometers.

The reconstruction of the station will make it possible to organize more efficient biological and mechanical cleaning, dispose of precipitation, and also solve the problem of unpleasant odors from the station, which cause inconvenience to residents of the capital and suburbs.
