The XXXVI International Festival of Contemporary Choreography

The XXXVI International Festival of Contemporary Choreography, one of the most significant dance events in Belarus, has opened in Vitebsk, according to Belarus Today.

From November 26 to 30, the city will host artists from 11 countries.

At the opening, congratulations were delivered by regional authorities and the Ministry of Culture, who emphasized the significance of the forum and its contribution to the development of contemporary dance.

The program began with the Moscow Ballet's divertissement "Bolero+."

Master classes, premieres, creative meetings, and the 2025 National Contemporary Choreography Competition are also on the agenda.

Special attention will be paid to an evening in memory of Yevgeny Panfilov and a photo exhibition dedicated to his 70th birthday.
