There are already more than 4 thousand postal facilities in Belarus

In 2021, Belarus for the first time topped its regional group in the rating of the postal development Index of the Universal Postal Union. Belarus took 14th place among 168 countries, BELTA writes.

In 2020, Belarus ranked 20th out of 170 countries. This rating gives a generalized picture of postal development in any country based on four key components: reliability, coverage, relevance and sustainability.

In Belarus, postal services are provided with the help of special software. It makes it possible to provide rural settlements with modern services based on information and communication technologies and reduce digital inequality. Currently, 4,972 devices with this software are operating throughout the country.

In total, 32 postal operators have a license to provide postal services. And 25 operators across the country are engaged in delivering the mail.
