There are fewer lands contaminated with radiation in Belarus

According to an expert from the Ministry of Natural Resources, now only 12.5% of the territories in Belarus are contaminated with radiation, Minsk-News reported. At the time of the Chernobyl disaster, 25% of all lands were infected.

The Ministry of Natural Resources receives quarterly reports with detailed analysis and data on the radiation situation in the country. No radiation spikes have been recorded in Belarus either.
